After months of speculation, Simon Cowell has finally appointed his former American Idol colleague Paula Abdul to The X Factor's judges' panel. Abdul herself confirmed the news on Sunday to Reuters TV. Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger and British TV personality Steve Jones will co-host the show. Cowell had long been clear about his hope that his friend Abdul would join the show.
