Chris Brown, 21, caused a lot of chatter at the BET Awards Sunday when he broke down in tears during a Michael Jackson tribute. Before he took the stage to belt out Man in the Mirror, one of his bodyguards gave him tear-inducing eye drops. He denies it, of course. But the witness says he definitely used drops.

In his first live televised performance since assaulting Rihanna, Chris Brown, 21, broke down as he performed a tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. Donning a fedora and sparkled glove, he mimicked Jackson's signature Moonwalk across the stage to Billie Jean at the BET Awards Sunday in Los Angeles.
Later in the night, he returned to the stage to accept the AOL Fandemonium Award. He apologized to his fans. "I let you all down before," he said, "but I won't do it again. I promise you."
