0 comments Posted by manok at 6:34 PMOn Saturday night, the Cannes Film Festival took a rest from art-house fare to welcome the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to La Croisette. Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz and Geoffrey Rush all trod the red carpet at the premiere of the fourth film in the staggeringly successful fantasy series. Costing somewhere in the vicinity of $200 million (€141 million) to produce, the noisy, busy film, which involves a search for the fountain of youth, is the first of the series to be presented in 3D.
