We'll get to the possibility that Real Housewives of Miami will be renewed for another season in a moment. But first you gotta hear what one of the South Florida gals is saying about her New York counterparts.
Adriana De Moura-Sidi is not a fan of the Big Apple installment of Bravo's hit franchise. But it wasn't always that way...
De Moura-Sidi misses the Skinnygirl Margarita princess. "Bethenny Frankel was my favorite," De Moura-Sidi told Marc Malkin and Michael Yo in Miami at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. "I don't think it's the same without her. I think it's a bunch of matronly women trying to look hot."
As for RHOM coming back for a second season, De Moura-Sidi didn't pull an "I don't know" or "I can't comment."
Instead, she said with a smile, "We can't officially say it yet, but I'm pretty sure...I'm pretty confident..."

Joe Francis recently did an interview with of the Miami New Times. Here's what he had to say about the Miami Housewives:
What do you think about Real Housewives of Miami -- did you watch any of this season?
I did! I watched every episode. I loved watching the show. I was in episode two! I have a reality show too, so I know how this all works. People like to watch these types of shows because the woman are train wrecks. Lea Black is such a great person and so normal.
So what about Real Housewives of Miami: normal or train wrecks?
Lea--She is very sophisticated and a beautiful woman. The rest of the cast? Train wrecks.

Since her debut on Real Housewives of Miami, Patton has quickly become a fan favorite. Not only does she not gossip like she's a 15-year-old, but her mother has more charisma than the whole cast combined. We caught up with Marysol at Lea Black's gala. Read how her expectations for the live reunion matched up with the train wreck that went down.
New Times: We have to start with the fact that we adore your mother, Elsa. Has anyone approached you to do a spinoff show?
Marysol Patton: No, no one has...yet.
Are you surprised by the national treasure your mom has become?
People have ALWAYS loved my mom. She has had a huge celebrity following for, like, 20 years. She doesn't think anything of it. But I'm just used to people loving her, and hanging on to every word she says. It's just her being herself.
How did you think you were portrayed on the show?
I think I was portrayed well. I was 100 percent myself and that showed. I don't really make fun of people, so they maybe wished for more of that, but that's not really my thing. I would rather make fun of myself than anyone else.
If Bravo offered you guys another season, would you do it?
I would love to.
Are you going to want to get anything off your chest at the reunion?
Um, we will see what they ask me. If they ask me something that is really bothering me, I'll be honest.
Do you think any ladies will get fiesty? Cristy Rice and Larsa Pippen seem to keep to themselves.
We're too educated for that. We need a little bit more street girls for that.

Alexia Echeverria has a problem with how her husband Herman insists on spending his money. The Real Housewives of Miami star had it out with him at her co-star Lea Black’s annual gala for the Juvenile Services Department of Miami on April 2 at the Eden Roc Renaissance in Miami Beach.
Sources tell Hollywood Life they were fighting because Herman wouldn’t stop bidding on diamonds — seriously?!
If Alexia doesn’t want Herman — we’ll take him! Our source added that Alexia kept telling Herman she “didn’t need anymore diamonds” — can a girl ever have enough? Instead, Herman and Alexia walked away with a weekend at Joe Francis‘ home in Mexico that cost them a whopping $20,000. Um, hanging at the Girls Gone Wild guy’s house, or an incredible bracelet … is that even a question?

"She is really funny!" Marysol told Niteside at the Eden Roc Miami Beach. "People love her. She says things and I’m just like, ‘Where does that come from?’ She never hurts anybody, she is just really funny. She will definitely be bringing belly aching laughter."
As we all watched the public relations powerhouse who owns local firm The Patton Group get engaged last week, she admits she wasn’t ever sure the show was meant for her. Or if Bravo even wanted her.
“I thought I was being punked the whole time. I thought they were just letting me film with everybody. I felt like I wasn’t really in it. I didn’t think I was fabulous enough to be in the gang. But in the end, I had fun.“
And she isn’t the only one who has benefitted from her time on TV.
"Also, I thought it would be great for my clients. I knew it would give them more exposure. I think they’re happy I did it now.”

Bravo is taking its always unpredictable and often chaotic Real Housewives reunion show to the next level: A live telecast.
For next month’s Real Housewives of Miami reunion special hosted by Andy Cohen, Bravo will run the special live on the East Coast.
The Housewives reunion special has become the Mad Max Thunderdome of Bravo — Have a dispute? Housewives in conflict? Save it for the reunion! You remember last year the Housewives of New Jersey got into a headline-making red-faced brawl, then the ladies of Beverly Hills weren’t exactly civil during their reunion in January.
Watch What Happens: Live Miami Housewives Reunion will air on April 5 at 9 p.m. ET. (with a seven-second bleep delay, of course).

The PR gal, wearing a gown by designer Angel Sanchez, and Frenchman Philippe Pautesta-Herder, 34, eloped in Aspen, Colo. on March 25, 2010. And, the housewife says it was a dream come true.

When asked about which city he would look to next to find more housewives, he told OK!, “I really feel like we’re done.” So is Miami the last stop on the Housewives train? Andy answered, “Yeah.”
But if any housewife thinks this is her chance to star in a spin-off series like Bethenny Frankel, she should think again. Andy explained of the other housewives, “I think they’re all good where they are.”
Even though he might think they should stay put in their hometowns, Andy had nothing but love for some of his favorite housewives. The king of Bravo used word association to describe the happy homemakers.
OK!: Camille Grammer
AC: Rich!
OK!: Teresa Giudice
AC: Strong!
OK!: Bethenny Frankel
AC: Hilarious!
OK!: Nene Leakes
AC: Bam!
Andy continued to gush about Miss Leakes, “She’s just in your face and fun!”
He then told OK! that he would also like to see Whitney Houston kick it with Nene and the gang on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. “I’d like to see her shake things up with those women.” Maybe she could team up with Kim Zolciak for “Tardy for the Party Part II”!

"Sarah Palin is the sideshow in the circus that everyone wants to watch, but that most people don't take seriously," Black told us when we chatted with her earlier today. "The Republican Party has become a circus and she's the sideshow act that everyone likes to laugh at, not with."
Black also thinks the Sarah Palin's Alaska star should stick to reality TV and stay out of politics, adding, "I think she makes for great entertainment, but I don't think she can be taken seriously for leading a country."
As for Black's onscreen drama with Bravo's newest group of Housewives gals?
"You're not going to see any table-flipping," she said. "But if you tune in tomorrow night you may see some pig-flipping."
Huh?! Black declined to elaborate, but we have a feeling it has something to do with a promo clip of housewife Alexia Echevarria's husband butchering a whole pig in the middle of their own kitchen.
You'd think they'd have the hired help take care of that.
