"My mom's like, 'I'm so proud. You're pole dancing and you're going to play a prostitute. Awesome!'" Jennifer Love Hewitt, 31, tells Entertainment Tonight. "It's like, 'Yeah, what you always dreamed about, mama!' But you know, it's a great part." She plays Samantha Horton in the drama, premiering this summer, about a former homecoming queen who resorts to prostitution to support her family through the recession. Cybill Shepherd stars as Samantha's mother, Cassie. To prep for the role, she took pole dancing classes.
