Paramount and MTV Films confirmed today (09.06.10) that they are developing a movie based on Tom Cruise's raunchy producer role from the 2008 film Tropic Thunder. He will star in and produce the movie, along with co-star and director Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld. Michael Bacall will write the screenplay. As Grossman, Cruise, 47, wowed the crowd at MTV's awards fest on Sunday; performing in a dance duet with Jennifer Lopez, he grabbed his crotch and attempted to smack Lopez's famous backside.
