Paris Hilton, 29, has been allowed into Japan after being detained for extensive questioning by immigration officials due to her earlier arrest for cocaine possession in the United States. She was held for questioning by officials following the landing of her chartered plane at Tokyo's Narita airport. Her detention was in relation to her court appearance the previous day in the United States during which she had pleaded guilty to cocaine possession. After questioning Hilton for six hours, Japanese immigration officials asked her to stay overnight in an airport hotel before allowing her into the country this morning. She was due to attend a fashion show in Tokyo in the Roppongi district of the city in order to promote her line of clothing but her appearance was cancelled during her questioning.
