The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney has dropped six pounds in a little over a month with the help of Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stranger!

And Barney dished to Radar Online on her no-starvation spring slim-down.

Barney didn't like what she saw earlier this year when she noticed bikini picture of her splashed across the pages of a magazine during a recent Mexico vacation with boyfriend Eddie Judge.

There was no doubt about it: She was packing on the pounds!

And love apparently was the cause of it all.

"Usually when you are happy in love and comfortable in a relationship, you tend to gain weight, or as I like to call it, love chub," Barney said, adding that she and Judge put on 10 pounds since the start of their relationship.

The blonde beauty added she was told about the SENSA Weight-Loss System from Patti Stranger, who herself lost 25 pounds on the plan.

And Barney liked it well enough to hook on Judge, who started the men's program.

"With the summer right around the corner, Eddie and I want to be in top shape, but we still want to enjoy weekend getaways and eating out," Barney said. "It's the ideal weight-loss system because it helps control our appetite without restrictive dieting."

Tamra told Radar that she also has been hitting the gym hard.

Tamra Barney of the Real Housewives of Orange County is breaking away from the O.C. and headed to Las Vegas.

The newly divorced reality TV star will be bringing her young new beau, Eddie Judge, to a red carpet event that invites all the cougars for a night of drinking, mingling and ogling over shirtless hunks. Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor kicks off the premiere of the weekly Cougars & Cuervo Wednesdays on -- when else? -- Wednesday that invites women of all ages to act like they aren’t a day over 21.

“I’m excited to go, totally excited. I love Vegas, and I’m going to bring my own little Latin flair boyfriend with me, so he’ll spice things up, too,” Barney said in a phone interview.

The evening, from 6 to 9 p.m., includes $5 shots of flavor-infused Jose Cuervo Tradicional, $5 Dos Equis and the introduction of the cocktail the Cougarita.

In addition to sweet and spicy drinks, cougars can indulge in sights of a shirtless hunk mascot and appearances from Excalibur headliners Thunder From Down Under, who will be giving away show tickets throughout the evening.

“I just saw the advertisements with my face on it, and I was like, oooh, Thunder From Down Under! I’ve never seen the show, but I’ve actually been wanting to,” Barney said. “Maybe enough of them will be there that they’ll put on their own show!”

The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Tamra Barney is really letting loose since her volatile split from ex-husband Simon Barney!

Tamra and her new dapper dude Eddie Judge are currently enjoying a fun-filled vacation in Mexico where they were photographed yesterday at the beach standing around looking hot and riding a jet ski.

In the splash heard around the world, Tamra Barney got naked and seduced boyfriend Eddie Judge from the inside of a bathtub on the March 20 episode of Real Housewives of Orange County.

Does she have any regrets over the scripted stunt her actions? Nah.

"I'm a free spirit, so I'm fine with it," Barney tells Life & Style in a new interview.

Alexis Bellino didn't think the scene was appropriate, however, saying on that evening's installment of Watch What Happens Live that Tamra's behavior was akin to "soft-core porn."

Barney's response to this transparently contrived controversy? "It probably wasn't one of my better on-camera choices. Because one day I might have to answer to my children, but they don't watch the show. And would they disown me because I'm happy and in love? No."

Wedding bells could be ringing soon for Tamra Barney and her new boyfriend.

Speaking exclusively to Radar Online, the Real Housewives of Orange County star said she and Eddie Judge, her boyfriend of more than a year, are planning to say ‘I Do’ and have even discussed adopting a child together!

“We’ve talked about marriage and we want to get married,” gushed 42-year-old Tamra, who shared the couple’s private photo album with us.

“It’s an insane amount of love; I have never said term ‘soul mate’ before, but we are!

“We finish each other’s sentences... I’m not the easiest person in the world and he gets me, nor does he judge. He simply says, ‘that’s my girl.’”

Tamra said she has slowly started to introduce her children — Ryan, Sidney, Spencer and Sophia — to new beau Eddie, in anticipation of walking down the aisle together.

“Within the next year we’ll be married,” Tamra told Radar Online, in an exclusive interview.

“It’s all about timing right now and the kids play a huge part.

“If it weren’t for the kids, we’d be married right now... but we’re happy as can be; it’s happily ever after!”

“Eddie is one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life; he’s understanding, he’s caring and he just really has a big heart.”

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney is madly in love with her boyfriend Eddie Judge, but she wants to make it clear that she did not cheat on her husband with him.

"The biggest rumor that’s going on about me right now is that I ran off with my husband’s best friend," Tamra tells RumorFix exclusively. "It was started by my [ex]-husband [Simon] to make me look bad ... it’s a bad one, it’s a horrible one."

Tamra set the record straight on the rumor, telling us, "It’s not true at all, no." She continues, "Actually, the boyfriend that I have, and you’ll see him on season 6, is a very nice guy. He runs a law firm, very respectable and he was a mutual friend of mine, my business partner in real estate, and Simon had met him once or twice, as I did too, but they never were friends"

But the reality star says she has no hard feelings toward her ex. "I have respect for him and he is the father of my children, so I understand maybe he did that rumor out of hurt."

And with all this experience of getting a divorce in the public eye, Tamra says she's writing a book tentatively called The Reality Behind Divorce.

It’s been a year of transformation for Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney. After making the difficult decision to leave her husband of 13 years on New Year’s Day 2010 — as she puts it, “I needed to make a move; I’d reached my breaking point”— the newly single mother of four found herself starting over, living in a cramped apartment with her kids and wishing, as she tells In Touch, “that I could just skip the next year.” 

Now she’s in love with new boyfriend Eddie Judge, and even though her split from Simon still isn’t finalized, she says that she has finally found peace.

“I met Simon at a time in my life when I really needed somebody stable. I was young and raising my oldest son, Ryan, by myself, and I was so tired of working six days a week,” Tamra said. “He took care of things and helped me carry the load.”

As for whether new boyfriend Eddie has bonded with the kids, Tamra says she doesn’t want to push it on them.

“We’re going to start doing family time once a week. The girls think he’s great, but my son, Spencer, is kind of hesitant. We’re just trying to do it the right way,” she said.

The new couple, who likes to cook and have friends over, is also open to the idea of marriage.

“But for now,” she adds, “Simon and I are working to make things as easy as possible for the kids.”
