Lady Gaga is kicking off the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards with a bang. She broke out from the pack of collabo-heavy club tracks competing for the Best Dance Video trophy to clutch the first Moonman of the evening for Bad Romance. Then she followed that up by winning Best Collaboration for her kitschy, eye-popping, Beyoncé-assisted romp, Telephone. Gaga became a VMA victor early in the night, when MTV News' Sway announced on the white carpet that the pop supernova had scored the trophies during the pre-show. The awards were the first win of her record-smashing 13 VMA nominations.
