RECENT POST

Angelina Jolie, 35, called on Tuesday for constant and long-term assistance to meet with victims of a recent flood reportedly the worst natural disaster in the country's history. A goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Jolie told reporters that she met with mothers who lost their children and an elderly couple who fear they'll never be able to rebuild their destroyed home.

Out of deference to the local culture, she wore a long black robe and a black headscarf adorned with a thin red stripe. Officials hope that her two-day visit will help spur more donations for the ravaged country in which 1700 people have died and another 17 million have been affected.
